Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on Yin-Yang and the five elements as the theoretical foundation. In regards to the human body, the unity of essence, Qi and mind. Diagnosis by observation, questioning, touching, hearing and smelling, to get the unique TCM analysis for each individual person. The combination of all the methods, the use of a variety of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, massage (TuiNa), cupping, QiGong, diet, enables the human body to achieve a balance of Yin and Yang.
This is different from western medicine, which focuses on the illness itself. The goal of TCM is using natural medicine (herbs), and a method (acupuncture, TuiNa and so on) to awaken body’s own Yin and Yang and recreate a new balance and peace.
